辞职信，也叫辞职书或辞呈，是辞职者向工作单位辞去职务时写的书信。辞职信是辞职者在辞去职务时的一个必要程序。
辞职信基本格式
辞职申请通常由标题、称谓、正文、结语、署名与日期五部分构成。
标题在辞职信第一行正中写上辞职信的名称。一般辞职信由事由和文种名共同构成，即以“辞职信”为标题。标题要醒目，字体稍大。
称呼要求在标题下一行顶格处写出接受辞职信的单位组织或领导人的名称或姓名称呼，并在称呼后加冒号。
正文
正文是辞职信的主要部分，正文内容一般包括三部分。首先要写出书信辞职的内容，开门见山让人一看便知。其次叙述递交书信辞职的具体理由。该项内容要求将自己有关辞职的详细情况一一列举出来，但要注意内容的单一性和完整性，条分缕析使人一看便知。最后要写出自己递交辞职信的决心和个人的具体要求，希望领导解决的问题等。
