Due to the comprehensiveness of China’s “reform and open” policies， economics plays an increasingly important role in the development of its global position. Though more and more companies built， management of companies cannot catch up with the development of the companies. Management is a burgeoning field in China， so I hope I can acquire more modern knowledge on management in England.

The roots of my strong interest in business can be traced back to my childhood. My father was among the first of China’s new breed of modern entrepreneurs. As a young girl， it was inspirational hearing about his business ventures， and meeting the varied and interesting circle of entrepreneurs. My mother was also involved in business as an accountant， helping him with simple calculations. And so it was early in my life that I hoped I， also， would someday be able to enter the realm of business.

With the time of growing up， I preferred reading books to satisfy my curiosity. I never ceased to contemplate over the questions I encountered. Subjects on business and management became a special fascination to me and my knowledge of psychology as well as interest in this field was increasing rapidly.

As a high school student in China， I had to concentrate on the College Entrance Examination (CEE)， even so， books not related to the exams were never excluded from my life. Unfortunately when sitting in the exam in June，， I was so nervous that I didn’t score well in the CEE exam. I enrolled in the department of Computer Science in Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Any attempt to persuade myself to focus on my major turned out to be a failure at the beginning of my college life. After several terms， I realized that I would never be interested in being a programmer or an engineer. At that moment， I lost my direction and objectives.

My persistence in reading saved me from the dark situation. As a matter of fact， I enjoyed reading the books included Encyclopedia American， and some books about management by Peter ker. I began to notice something interesting： Why some companies can produce more than others? Why some company can sell more than others? Why some companies can build up but others cannot when facing the same difficulties?

With the questions in my mind， I started to read many relevant books. I was lucky to read the book “Jack： Straight from the Gut”by Jack Welch， in Which John A. Byrne makes a clear illustration that the management is important for a company. When I was a junior， I ran a bookshop by myself near my school. I should manage not only the finance in the shop but also the employees in my shop even made some strategies to enlarge the business in my shop to hold on the run the shop. From this， my interpersonal skills and the capacity in business has been greatly developed， definitely I was increasingly interested in what I was doing. By December，， I had finally determined to take business management as my career instead of IT. To accumulate more relevant knowledge， I strived to gain more practical work experience in some big companies.

Fortunately， as a senior， I began by conducting an internship in the Architecture Company in Zhejiang Province. Over six months， I worked as an assistant of the manager to harmonize the relationship between the different departments in this company and to draft some management system， which broadened my perspective of management conditions and business performance in different industries. The experience showed me that management is much more important than that of I thought in big companies. After graduation， I continued my work in this company. In May，， the company offered me an opportunity to participate in an training program held by a famous management school. Through in-depth discussions with teachers and students in the classes， they all encouraged me to pursue my future career in management field because of my intellectual ability and the brand new ideas I mentioned.

During the short period of training， I realized that pursuing a higher degree in management is a wise choice for me now. 香港留学报考条件

1.国家承认学历的应届本科毕业生(含普通高校、成人高校、普通高校举办的成人高等学历教育应届本科毕业生)及自学考试和网络教育届时可毕业本科生，录取当年9月1日前须取得国家承认的本科毕业证书)。

2.具有国家承认的大学本科毕业学历的人员，要求报名时通过_网学历检验，没通过的可向有关教育部门申请学历认证。

3.获得国家承认的高职高专毕业学历后满2年(从毕业后到录取当年9月1日，下同)或2年以上，达到与大学本科毕业生同等学历，且符合招生单位根据本单位的培养目标对考生提出的具体业务要求的人员。

4.国家承认学历的本科结业生，按本科毕业生同等学历身份报考。

5.已获硕士、博士学位的人员。

在校研究生报考须在报名前征得所在培养单位同意。

《新快报》报道，美国有四千多所高校，根据《泰晤士报》的排名，其中在世界名校100强中，美国大学就占据了58所。而香港较有名的香港大学、香港中文大学等都在百名以外，由此可见，美国的精英教育的确位居世界前列，而且院校之多，学生选择的范围也就更加广泛。一般而言，申请美国的大学，无需参加国内高考，学生只需提供SAT和TOEFL成绩，近几年，美国的许多高校也逐渐认可了雅思成绩，从而放宽了入读条件。

到香港读书，大陆学生一般可通过两种途径：一种是香港高校在大陆招生，即学生在高考填报志愿时就可报考，但是通过高考入读香港的大学的学生，高考分数须至少达到或超过其所属省、自治区、直辖市的第二批本科录取控制分数线，此外英文成绩必须良好，部分香港高校需要进行英语水平测试和面试，这对有的学生而言就比较难了。另一种则是以国际学生的身份申请入学港校，对大陆的学生来说，一般可以通过考SAT、国际文凭(International Baccalaureate, IB)申请，同时需要提供TOEFL或IELTS成绩。一般来说，雅思需6.0 ～7.0 ,托福要达到550。

经费PK

美国私立大学每年的学费约为25000～30000美元，按中等水平28000美元推算，可折算成约21万元人民币，四年的学费总成本约为84万元。生活成本是在美期间另外一大开支。根据学校所在地区不同，每年住房和伙食费约为6000～0美元;书本及个人开支约为600～2600美元;杂费及保险费约为150～1000美元。这样，每年在美国读书的生活费大约为6750～23600美元，按中等水平15000美元推算，约折算成11万元人民币。由此得出，在没有得到任何资助的情况下，在美国读本科的总体成本在130万元左右。

与美国相比，香港的大学对大陆学生收取的学费则便宜得多，每年学费约为港币42100元，此外，某些院校亦会硬性规定学生必须先住学生宿舍，体验校园生活，所以加上港币1万多元至3万多元不等的住宿费和其他杂费，在香港一年的学费加生活费可达10万～11万港元。在香港读本科的总体成本在40多万元左右。

奖学金PK

美国本科奖学金不算多，但可以获得。有两种奖学金，经济补助(financial aid)，需要填表申请;荣誉奖学金，一般不需要任何申请材料，只要你够优秀，如果有特殊才能，比如体育、美术和音乐方面的，提供你的作品、获奖证明及录像带等就有可能获得特殊才能奖学金。

香港地区学校在大陆招生，其基本理念是招收“精英”，同时拥有丰厚的奖学金，香港的大学一般会设立入学奖学金，分全奖和半奖，全奖包括大学四年的学费、住宿费、生活费。通常超过一本线80分以上，有机会获得奖学金，超过一本线100分以上有机会得到全额奖学金。

文化差异PK

由于中、美两国的历史与文化底蕴不同，其文化上的差异是相当大的，在美国，不会说英语，几乎难以与人沟通，更谈不上学习。加上生活方式、饮食习惯和思维形式的不同，留学生要融入美国社会需要花费较长的时间。而香港就不一样，不会说粤语，还可以用普通话交流，尽管也是全英授课的教学环境，毕竟文化背景相同，又是以华人为主的社会，学生很快便能融入英文教学中。对以后打算出国深造的学生来说，算得上是“跳板”。

留学丹麦新生要做的事项

一、安排住宿

要尽快的将住宿确定下来，因为抵达当天就要办理入住，并且确认自己的住宿地址，不然会耽误大家的入学，如果是学校的话，会比较简单，直接带上预订证明却宿舍申请即可。

而如果是在外租房的话，还需要联系中介，确认房子的情况，只有满意才能够签订合同，大家一定要看好并且确认好相关事宜，保证自己的合法权益，并且做好交接的工作。

二、到校登记

首先大家要先去学校进行入学的登记，要先将自己的合法留学生身份确定好，才可以进行接下来的事情，登记需要将自己需要出示的材料先准备好。

一般大家抵达了学校之后，会收到学校发放的入学指南，大家只需要按照学校的安排来进行准备即可，如果之前就是去好了宿舍，那么可以直接办理入住，如果没申请到，就需要自己安排住宿。

三、办理黄卡

等到大家办好了入学，拿到了学生证，并且安排好了住宿之后，就可以前往住宿所在的管理区域，进行人口的登记，领取自己的合法居留证明。

在此之前，需要将基础的保险购买好，并且后续要按时缴纳保险费，这样大家拿到了换卡之后，才可以免费使用丹麦的医疗和各类公共的资源。

四、办理税卡

如果大家准备在留学期间打工的话，也不要忘记了打工许可的申请，还需要办理属于自己的税卡，只有交完税的收入才是合法的收入，学生在离境前可以申请退税。

办理的流程很简单，只需要拿着自己的居留卡和学生证，前往辖区的警局进行申请即可，填写好申请表后进行递交，而税卡也可以一起进行申请。

四、申请账户

而拥有一张自己的银行可也是必须的，虽然国内的银联卡也可以正常使用，但是本地卡使用起来会更方便一些，而且折扣活动正对的也大都是本地银行发放的卡。

办卡只需要出示黄卡，再按照工作人员的知道，进行申请表的填写，递交并缴纳手续费，然后大概需要一周左右才能够收到制好的卡，激活后就可以使用了。

丹麦留学行李准备清单

一、衣物类

丹麦是一个海岛国家，虽然纬度高但是由于是海洋性的气候，全面的温差不会特别大，冬天虽然冷，但是夏天的气温不高，所以大家带衣服，要以保暖为主，不过也不需要带上太多。

一般按照抵达后初期的温度准备，准备两三套长袖长裤外套即可，鞋子以运动鞋为主，贴身要穿的内衣裤和袜子，可以多准备一点，国内的价格会相对便宜一些，而且也会舒适得多。

二、药品类

首先需要应对可能会出现的水土不服，主要的表现就是感冒发烧和拉肚子，所以感冒药和肠胃药，一定要带上，不过在选择的时候，还需要考察成分，避开禁入的药品。

眼药水同样也属于药品的行列，学习的压力还是比较大的，保护好眼睛很重要;在丹麦的夏天，也是有蚊子出没的，大家可以带上驱蚊水或者蚊帐，解决蚊虫叮咬。

三、食品类

适应西餐需要一段时间，熬过过渡期需要大家自己做饭，或者先用国内的零食过渡，这样大家可以带上一个多功能的电饭煲，可以完成很多国内的菜色，还不需要厨房。

调料的准备是最重要的内容，国内大部分的调味品，只要分量不超过限度，就可以随便带，当然要是会用到的才需要带，不要带太多。

四、日用类

床单被套等，至少要从国内带上一套，这样大家到了丹麦之后，安排住宿的时候，才可以直接使用，不用浪费时间再准备，三件套不占地方，大家也可以带上备用的，这样更换起来也会方便一些，

洗漱类的东西，带正装会比较重，而且在中途行李箱会几经辗转，有可能会漏出来，所以大家可以准备上旅行装，既能够满足大家抵达初期的生活需求，又不会很占空间，包装起来也方便。

西班牙留学常见出行方式

一、公交

Autobús，是城市内部出行比较合适的方式，基础路线很齐全，而且还用颜色区分出了市内和郊区的路线，不用担心会坐错车，公交站之间的距离也不算很远，配置很人性化。

车辆一般较长，会有前门中门和后门，有自动检票和刷卡的装置，学生购买月票是比较合适的选择，夜间出行会有专门的夜间巴士búhos，基本上24小时都会有公交运行。

二、地铁

Metro，如果大家想避开地面可能会拥挤的交通，还可以选择地下的地铁，同样也覆盖了城市的大小角落，每个站点都会有明显的标志方便大家查找，而且站台都不小。

地铁票价是按照距离的远近进行定价的，目前城市内最多分三区，而且在大型的站点，还会提供租书借阅的服务，很受本地人的欢迎，大家可以享受很方便的服务。

三、出租车

一、生活须知

I have completed my four year Bachelor of Technology program at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. I graduated in July with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Many of my courses and research activities in the final year were in the field of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research with a strong focus on production and operations management. I am presently working in Tata Technologies India Ltd., an information technology firm that is involved in the areas of enterprise integration and CAD/CAM. I am applying for admission and financial aid to the Ph.D. program in Operations Management at the Krannert Graduate School of Management, Purdue University. Detailed information about my academic record and my research and other experience is attached to this statement.

I was introduced to mathematics and the physical sciences while at school and it was in high school that I considered a career in this area. The desire to study the applied physical sciences and mathematics prompted me to take the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology. I was ranked in the top 0.25 % of the nearly 1,00,000 students who took the examination.

My undergraduate education at IIT Bombay has not only given me a certain set of skills but has also helped me understand my fields of interest and my academic strengths and weaknesses. This understanding has made me realize that though the applied physical sciences appeal to me, my strengths lie in applied mathematics and in abstractions of reality. In particular, I am interested in the managerial aspects of industrial and technological systems. This interest developed during my junior year seminar titled ‘Productivity Management’ in which I explored the relationship between manufacturing strategy and productivity improvement. I continued further research in this area through my senior year project titled ‘Decision Support System for Quality Control’ which sought to investigate various decision making mechanisms in the quality function and provide corresponding computer support. The project also enabled me to appreciate the interaction between manufacturing and the other functions of the firm especially information systems. The reading of certain outstanding books during the course of my research such as Skinner’s ‘Manufacturing in the Corporate Strategy’, Deming’s ‘Out of the Crisis’ and Goldratt’s ‘The Goal’ finally convinced me to pursue a Ph.D. in operations management and an academic career thereafter.

My past work in the area of industrial engineering and operations research was characterised by a dichotomy of approaches. The courses that I took in this area dealt with various operational and tactical issues. The basic aim was to understand a specific problem, model the problem appropriately and find an optimal or reasonably optimal solution using the techniques of operations research. This has given me a good background in issues related to methodology, modelling, and heuristic solutions. On the other hand, my research has been oriented towards strategic issues. The basic thrust of my junior year seminar and senior year project has been ‘integrative’. Through my future research efforts I would like to understand this dichotomy better. Initially, I want to study rigorous model-based methods and do research on operational and tactical topics. After gaining a thorough grounding in these topics, I am interested in applying the same methodologies and techniques to strategic topics in operations management.

I believe that I have the qualities to be a good researcher and teacher. I am a creative person and often think in a contemplative way about various issues of practical importance. Being able to identify patterns and relationships that are not obvious to others is perhaps my greatest strength. This will prove very valuable because an integral part of being a researcher and teacher is to perceive the balance between theory and practice, analytical rigor and intuition. My communication skills are good and I like expressing ideas and concepts both in oral and written form - an ideal platform for the dissemination of knowledge in my chosen field of specialization.

The Krannert Graduate School of Management is one of the best schools of management in the world with a strong orientation towards research. The diversity of research interests in the operations management group is of particular interest to me. 韩国研究生留学条件

1、大学毕业，获得毕业证、学位证(或大学大四在读);

Ever since I have had the ability to understand it, I have been fascinated by the English language. As a child, I would either be writing, reading or telling stories and ever sine then, have read a wide variety of both fiction and non-fiction texts from a variety of genres and eras.

This passion for language has led me to many different extra-curricular activities. For the past four years, I have attended a Youth Theatre each week where we concentrate very much on both improvised and scripted drama but also have done work on stage management, stage make-up, singing, and signed singing (an interest which begun with my learning of both violin and double bass to grade 4 standard).

With this same organisation, I have volunteered for the past three years at one of the children’s groups where I work helping with drama, music and art. It was with this same organisation that I decided to learn Sign Language.I have recently gained my British Sign Language Level 1 certificate and am now beginning a Level 2 course. I began learning Sign Language at the same time as starting my A-Level in English Language and Literature, a course I have found extremely interesting. Taking these two courses concurrently was very exciting for me as learning more about the linguistics of the English Language enabled me to make comparisons between the two languages.

These interests have led me to this course which I not only feel suits my needs and interests aptly, but also excites me in its course content. Although I’ve enjoyed all of my A-Level English Language and Literature course but have found a few parts of it particularly interesting. I specifically enjoyed our coursework tasks for our AS Level as it included writing a piece of original fiction, an aspect of English which I have always enjoyed. I also enjoyed the task of performing a monologue as I have missed not being able to study drama as a subject.

I try to follow my interests outside of school and so attend a wide variety of theatre productions, art exhibitions, musical performances and subject related lectures. When studying psychology last year, I attended a large psychology conference with a variety of speakers which was both helpful and interesting. Last year I also attended an ‘art master class’ organised with Middlesex University and with nine other students, it gave more opportunity for more detailed and involved discussions. I have not yet had the opportunity to attend an English related lecture but look forward to a study day in March which will aid me with my study of Shakespeare’s Antony and Cleopatra.

Alongside this and my voluntary work with the drama organisation, I have worked in a variety of jobs which have all helped to develop my sense of responsibility as they were dependent on both teamwork and co-operation but also my use of initiative.I have chosen to defer my entry to as I plan to complete a voluntary teaching placement in Africa. The prospect of this placement excites me as it will give me the opportunity to travel, to meet new people, to experience new cultures, and, above all, help out where much help is needed. I feel that taking a gap year is going to benefit me greatly as it will enable me to gain valuable life skills that will benefit me both at university but also in whatever I choose to do following university whether it be a postgraduate course or work.

专业会影响到对雅思的成绩的要求，一般在6.0-7.0分左右，而大家的成绩要达到标准，申请商科，GPA要达到3分以上;部分的专业还要求学生提供GRE/GMAT得成绩。

学校还会考察学生的个人能力，主要是在校期间的参加的实践活动，以及学校主持的课题研究的情况。这就需要大家有意识的参加这类活动。

问：获得录取之後，何时开始办理赴港签证手续?需时多久?如何办理?

1. 不要讲故事

如果你问我，文书书写的时候最需要注意什么，我会毫不犹豫的说：逻辑!用什么样的逻辑去写文书，这取决于你的背景是怎么样的。如果你的学术能力很强，通篇的逻辑就是要着重强调你都做过哪些项目，发表过哪些文章，经过前面的摆事实，给教授得出的结论就是，你的学术能力完全能胜任。

如果你没怎么发表过文章，但是有好几年的工作经验，文书的逻辑重点就是你的工作能容，在工作期间解决的问题，得到的训练，最终通过前面的描述告诉教授，虽然你没有什么文章，但是经过这几年的工作，你已经做了足够的项目，掌握了足够的知识，完全满足职位的要求。

Acclaimed as a prodigy, I entered into one of China’s Ivy League universities at 14 and joined the country’s topmost scientific research institution as a graduate student at 19. I have demonstrated a keen mind since my early childhood. For years, I consistently outperformed all of my classmates in such challenging subjects as mathematics, physics and chemistry. The relative smooth path of my career notwithstanding, I have not had a chance to lead a major project, although I have always finished my part of every project immaculately. In spite of all my achievements, I feel that I have not taken the full advantages of my intellectual capabilities. I now wish to pursue still more advanced studies and thereby obtain an advanced degree so that I can open more doors and shoulder greater responsibilities.

I believe I have acquired the necessary theoretical framework and sufficient practical experience for further studies. My ability to teach myself and conduct independent research allows me to attain competence quickly in areas that I may at first know very little about. I never work just to finish an assignment, but instead I always try conscientiously to improve my knowledge and expertise through the work I do. In this fashion, I have become seasoned in such fields as trunking system (telecommunications) and CMIS system (software). This quality should help me as I seek to further upgrade my education, particularly if I have ready access to the seasoned guidance of a strong faculty and the convenience of state-of-the-art research facilities.

The University of Idaho is well known for its excellence in the E. E field, complete with an accomplished faculty and modern research resources. These should set a good stage for me to exercise my keen mental power and diligence. If I am accepted, I am confident that I can make quick progress in the E. E field, especially in the areas of artificial intelligence, image processing, wireless communication, neural network and computer networking, which have many characteristics in common and share many important principles. Due to the broad applications of these technologies, I believe the progress we make in these areas will help shape the future of the mankind. I would like t be at the forefront of such progress.

As I am broadly grounded in EE and computer science, you may find me qualified or more qualified for advanced studies in areas other than those I have mentioned. If so, I would greatly appreciate it if you could let me know any suggestions that you may have.

I wish to assure you that I have the necessary English language skills to complete advanced studies in your Ph. D. program. I generally read or write English without any difficulty. I have, over the years, not only read academic or professional materials in English avidly but also memorized the whole English-Chinese dictionary. There may be room for improvement in my oral English and English listening comprehension. But I am sure my English proficiency is sufficient for me to undertake advanced studies and research. Besides, I believe I can improve my oral English by leaps and bounds once I start to live in an English-speaking environment. All that I need to do is to set my mind free.

I plan to return to China after the completion of my Ph. D. studies either to teach at one of the larger Chinese universities or to lead a high-tech corporation.
