Right. It is time. The topic I am going to present to you today is called “ Treasure Every Minute”.

To realize the value of ONE YEAR, ask a student who failed a grade.

To realize the value of ONE MONTH, ask a mother who gave birth to a premature baby.

To realize the value of ONE WEEK, ask the editor of a weekly newspaper.

To realize the value of ONE HOUR, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.

To realize the value of ONE MINUTE, ask a person who missed the train.

To realize the value of ONE SECOND, ask a person who just avoided an accident.

To realize the value of ONE MILLISECOND, ask the person who won a silver medal in the Olympics.

Treasure every moment that you have! And treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time with.

And remember that time waits for no one. Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it's called the present!! The clock is running. Make the most of today.

i remembered those words through the funeral and the days that followed when i helped him and my niece attend to all the sad chores that follow an unexpected death. i thought about them on the plane returning to california from the midwestern town where my sisters family lives. i thought about all the things that she hadnt seen or heard or done. i thought about the things that she had done without realizing that they were special.

im still thinking about his words, and theyve changed the weeds in the garden. im spending more time with my family and friends and less time in committee meetings. whenever possible, life should be a pattern of experience to savour, not endure. im trying to recognize these moment now and cherish them.

im not saving anything; we use our good china and crystal for every special. event such as losing a pound, getting the sink unstopped, the first camellia blossom… i wear my good blazer to the market if i feel like it. my theory is if i look prosperous, i can shell out $28. 49 for one small bag of groceries without wincing. im not saving my good perfume for special parties; clerks in hardware stores and tellers in banks have noses that function as well as my party going friends.

someday and one of these days are losing their grip on my vocabulary. if its worth seeing or hearing or doing, i want to see and hear and do it now. im not sure what my sister wouldve done had she know that she wouldnt be here for the tomorrow we all take for granted.

i think she would have called family members and a few close friends. she might have called a few former friends to apologize, and mend fences for past squabbles. i like to think she would have gone out for a chinese dinner, her favorite food. im guessing. ill never know.

时间对每一个人都是公平的，但也是不公平的。我们玩过一个游戏，看谁在一分钟之内写的字最多。游戏开始时，我已拿起笔写，但有的人还在想应该写什么，甚至有的人连本子都没有翻开。结果有的人想三十多个，有的人却只写了十多个。时间就是这样，你不珍惜它，它也不会等你。

工人在工厂里每天都勤奋地工作，时间给他的就是能使生活便利的产品；科研人员在实验室里努力的研究，时间给他们的就是能造福人类的东西；学生每天带着莫大的压力去学习，时间给他们的就是诸多的知识。

珍惜时间光说可不顶用，要用实际的行动来珍惜。把发呆的时间用来看书、学习，肯定是有利无害的；写作业时也不要分心，这样留出来的时间会比平时多几倍的呢。

“少壮不努力，老大徒伤悲。”一定要利用好时间，争取不浪费一分一秒。

有人说过：一寸光阴一寸金，寸金难买寸光阴。

鲁迅说过：“时间就像海绵里的水,只要愿挤,总还是有的。”正是因为如此，鲁迅把别人喝咖啡、谈闲事的时间都用在工作和学习上。他对生活没有一丝懈怠，笔尖上挥扬的墨水影响了一代又一代的人。

时间是靠自己争取而来的。愿意把时间挤出来，时间总是有的。但是有的人不珍惜时间，贪玩好耍，虚度光阴。珍惜时间的人即使事多，也能挤出时间，去干更多有意义的事。也许这就是鲁迅先生告诉我们的道理吧！

我们是不是也要向他们学习呢？那是肯定的。有时你可能会觉得我们才刚刚长大，时间还多着呢，青春是用来挥霍的，其实并不是如此。如果你不珍惜时间，当日月如梭，光阴似箭，我们渐渐老去，回忆往事的时候，会因为虚度年华而悔恨，会因为自己一生碌碌无为而羞愧。

所以让我们从现在做起，珍惜每一分，每一秒。当我们在课上开小差的时候，我们是不是就在浪费时间呢？当我们在无聊地等地铁等公交的时候，我们是不是可以捧起一本书，丰富一下课外知识呢？当我们在抱怨作业太多的时候，我们是不是该把用来抱怨的时间换成努力学习的时间呢?北宋人司马光就是一个惜时如金的人。他从小用功读书，担任官职以后，决定在他有生之年编写一部完整的通史。为了抢时间，避免睡过头，司马光设计了一种圆木枕头，睡觉时一翻身，枕头就会滚走，将自己弄醒，继续工作。司马光把这种枕头叫做“警枕”。

6霍金在21岁时患上了萎缩性脊髓侧索硬化症，医生说他只有两年半的寿命。他自己说：“时间只有两年半，不算多，要努力做些有意义的事，让生命留下一点辉煌。”

时间是十分宝贵的，“一寸光阴一寸金，寸金难买寸光阴”说的就是这个道理。时间最珍贵的地方，是它的稍纵即逝、是它的不再重来，你不能回到过去，也不可能改变过去。高尔基曾经说过：“世界上最快而又最慢，最长而又最短，最平凡而又最珍贵，最易被忽视而又最令人后悔的就是时间。”所以，我们千万不要等到失败的时候，才想起时间的宝贵，因为失去的时间不会重来，失去的机会也不会再来。因此，时间对于每个人来说都是最面无私的，一年三百六十五天，一天二十四小时，一小时三千六百秒。也许有的人会在一年的某一天创造出一项伟大的发明，而有的人则可能一辈子都碌碌无为。

正因为时间的宝贵，自古以来，但凡取得成就的人，没有一位是不珍惜时间的。大发明家爱迪生，平均三天就有一项发明，正是因为他抓住了分分秒秒的时间进行了仔细的研究，单是寻找用什么材料来作电灯丝就做了一千多个实验。伟大的文学家鲁迅先生有句格言，“哪里是天才，我把别人喝咖啡的时间都用在工作上。”著名的数学家华罗庚曾经说过：“时间是由分秒积成的，善于利用零星时间的人，才会做出更大的成绩来。”

既然成功都是垂青于那些珍惜时间的人，我们又有什么理由浪费时间呢?我们我们正处在人生中最宝贵的黄金时期，唯有充分利用好现在充足的学习时间，学习更多的知识，今后才会有更大的收获。古人云：“少壮不努力，老大徒伤悲”。所以我们现在可不能浪费时间，千万不要等到一切都无法挽回时才想起时间的可贵。我们只有现在珍惜时间，这样当我们回首往事时，才会无怨无悔。因为我们都曾努力过。所以，我们应该学会做时间的主人，上课、自习、做作业都要排除一切干扰，高度集中注意力，充分利用好课堂上的每一分钟，专心听讲，认真思考，抓紧每一分，每一秒。当然，抓紧时间，并不是要死读书，读死书。我们要科学安排时间，巧妙地利用时间，提高时间的利用率。只有这样，今后才会拥有更大、更完美的收获?

大家早上好!我演讲的题目是《珍惜今天》。有人说：人的一生有三天：昨天、今天和明天，这三天组成了人生的三步曲。但我说，人的一生只是由无数的今天构成的，因为不会珍惜今天的人，既不会感怀昨天，也不会憧憬明天。

乐观的人，喜欢描述明天的美好前景;悲观的人，总担心明天会发生什么不测。但生命的内涵只在于今天，生命是宝贵的，它是由一分一秒的时间堆积而成的，珍惜今天就是珍惜生命，荒废了今天就是荒废了生命。

昨天已是过眼云烟，再也无法挽留。如果在昨天，你为取得了一点骄人的成绩而沾沾自喜，或是因为做错了一件事情而愁眉不展，那么你就永远陷进了昨天的泥潭里。同时，你今天的时间也会从你的沾沾自喜或愁眉不展中悄悄流逝。每个人都会乘坐“今天”这班车驶向明天，一天一个驿站，一天一处风景，趁着明天还未到来，我们就应抓住今天，这样等待着你的才会是果实累累的明天。

我们不应该在昨天寻觅什么，也不应该向明天祈求什么，最重要的是怎样对待今天。在这有限的时间里努力学习，抓紧今天的分分秒秒，用今天的努力去弥补昨天的空隙，去实现明天的崇高理想。

就在上周，我们结束了上学期期末表彰大会，虽然结果已经揭晓，而在同学们的脸上有喜有忧。但是，考试及表彰已经结束，他已经成为历史，成为了不能改变的事情，也许会受挫折，也许会失败，但是，“不经历风雨怎么见彩虹。”失败并不可怕，可怕的是认输。远航的水手告诉我们“风雨中，这点痛算什么，擦干泪，不要问，至少我们还有梦。”我们的青春是炽烈的，我们的目标是明确的。

聪明的人，检查昨天，抓紧今天，规划明天;愚蠢的人，悲叹昨天，挥霍今天，梦幻明天。一个有价值的人生应该是：无怨无悔的昨天，丰硕盈实的今天，充满希望的明天。
