第二，拓展知识面，并要有自己的观点

现在的小升初面试要想给考官留下一个深刻的印象，就要突出自己的特点，而在做自我介绍的过程中，兴趣爱好又是学生介绍最多的内容，但如果只是像流水账一样说有这个爱好或那个爱好，效果肯定不好。这时候就需要学生把自己的兴趣爱好能够做更深层次的拓展，如何拓展好，就需要学生对自己的兴趣爱好有相应的了解，诸如，音乐，体育，美术，旅游等等，在在了解的基础上发表一下自己的对此项爱好的一些见解，这样会让考官觉得学生真的是很喜欢这个东西，并且这个见解还能为自己的介绍增色很多，但如果没有相应的了解，自己的见解肯定是说不出来，考官觉得学生可能是在编造一些爱好而已。

第三，注重口语表达，说话思路清晰

自我介绍这一个环节很重要的一项在考察学生的口语表达能力，一口流利而标准的英语，一个思路清晰而明确的介绍也可以为考生曾分不少。所以学生平时一定要注意口语的表达，注重语音语调，但是如果平时口语练得比较少怎么办呢?办法很简单，赶紧抓时间练习，因为面试的过程中别的题目我们是无法猜测的，但是自我介绍这一环节是可以事先准备的，学生可以想好要说什么，然后把要说的话准备好，反复加以练习，肯定是有一定效果的。但是在面试的过程中千万不要像背诵课文一样把自我介绍背出来，那样会让考官觉得学生的回答很机械，不够生动，所以最关键的还是注重语言的表达运用能力，并配合肢体语言，神情动作。一个生动而又自信的自我介绍才能给考官留下深刻的印象，为取得高分埋下伏笔!

第四，注意礼节

英语口试，也算是一种面试，第一印象非常重要。所以，考生要特别注意礼节。进入考场后，考生要礼貌地用英语问候老师，当口试结束后，考生应起身说表示感谢或再见的话。

如果有问题答不上来时，千万不要保持沉默，可以说些如“Well”,“Okay”,“How to say”,“Let me think.”“As far as I remember/know”之类的句子，给考官一个有应变能力的印象，当然这种情况不宜出现过多。另外，当听不明白老师的问题时，切忌不懂装懂，答非所问。这时，要用英语请老师重复时可说：“Sorry I cannot catch you? May I beg your pardon?”或“I beg your pardon?”或“Would you please to repeat?”或“Would you please to say it again?”当遇到不会读的单词的时，考生不要盲目乱读，可以用英语直接向老师询问：“Sorry, I don’t know how to pronounce this word.
