你好首先感谢你的信任。我使劲回忆了一下当年考初级时候的经历，但不知我的经验是否对现在的题型和内容是否合适。仅供你参考。
首先，听力内容可能学生不熟悉，虽然语速不快但内容会涉及银行日常业务，建议你给学生提供些银行日常口语方面的内容做辅助练习。考试委员会也提供了听力材料，但这些材料很奇怪，既不适用于初级也不适用于中级，但听听也无妨。另外，国际结算内容始终是考试重点，我建议你学习一下国际贸易中的国际结算内容，书店里很多这方面的书。最后，最重要的是作文，通常也会涉及国际结算中的往来电传。对于在银行中从事国际结算的考生来说易如反掌，但作为大学生来说，不是件容易的事。如果能在书店中找到这方面的书那就再好不过了。
我刚看了一下今年初级考试的大纲，作文分了三部分，比起前，只考一篇作文来说对于在校生事件好事。我记得当年很多在校学生无法在规定时间内完成一篇作文，而轻易丢掉20分。
值得注意的是听力+作文=50分。初级通过率低主要是很多人对听力和写作能力不过关。
另外，整个考试内容中，涉及国际结算的内容应该不低于35分，所以，要想提高通过率，建议以听力，写作，国际结算为重点。
金融英语考试学习三步曲（适用于初级考试）
一、熟悉教材，结合实际，找好学习方法――规划阶段
专业英语的学习不同于普通英语，要求掌握专业词汇和专业知识，最好具备相关专业的基础知识，因此，需要熟悉所要学的教材，
例如，FECT教材就是一个大杂烩，有国际结算，信贷，会计，银行业务操作和金融法律等相关知识。结合实际，就要针对自身具备的知识结构情况，缺啥补啥。结合实际，就要充分发挥自身具备知识的优势，尽量克服劣势，例如，学金融的要在英语语言运用能力方面多下工夫，学英语的就要在经济金融知识方面多化时间。学习方法很多，但适合自己的可能只有一两种。做好规划显得尤为重要。

二、按部就班，扎实学习，全面掌握――学习阶段
找准了学习方法，就要按计划有针对性地进行学习，重点要掌握金专业融英语词汇和表达方法、金融业务操作的英语表达与处理（如，业务流程，表格，图表、图示、函电等）、听力技能和一定的口语表达能力（例如，简单的银行柜台业务会话、电话访谈等）。学习是个苦差使，同时又是个快乐的过程。兴趣是在学的过程中培养出来的。动手做做笔记，画画流程图和表格，当你看到自己也会用英语正确表达相关经济金融知识，会是何等高兴。
三、多做练习，查找不足，积极备战――应考阶段
FECT是全国性的考试，已经有多年的考题供练习之用。惟有经过测试方知自己学习的效果，才好进一步找准努力的方向。
金融英语(FECT)初级考试的一点心得
英语是非常简单，专业很重要，甚至考题中的完型填空全部来自教材，因此教材要认真看认真读。
专业涉及到外汇、会计、信贷、国际结算、函电等等，以国际结算占比为重。制图以往考信用证为多，考的是买方信贷，要求把买方信贷的5个流程写出来。教材中都有。
因此教材中的专业部分不但要看，而且还要把各种业务的流程弄得非常清楚。
函电也不难，相当于把题目翻译成英文就可以。注意格式。
听力算比较难的。我觉得。只念一句话（最短的可能不到10个词）要我们从中摄取信息进行选择，我根本还没反应过来。只有一题不需去听，一看四个选项就可以判断
