我们打算去神农山去旅游。神农山位于河南省焦作沁阳市城区西北23公里的太行山麓，共有八大景区136个景点。主峰紫金顶海拔1028米，矗立中天，气势雄浑，三大天门较泰山早154年。遍布16000余株珍稀树种龙鳞松的白松岭，一岭九峰。神农山植被覆盖率高达90%以上，被称作天然氧吧。这里有植物1912种，名贵中药材300余种，至今流传着“神农谷里走一遭，有病不治自己消”的俗语；神农山动物种类繁多，有陆栖脊椎动物260余种，其中数量最多的是国家二类珍稀野生保护动物太行猕猴，共有3000余只，分属9个猕猴群，它们就像是大山里的9个原始部落一样，或在断崖石壁间腾挪跳跃，或与游客嬉戏逗乐。15600余株白皮松姿态万千，生长于悬崖绝岭之巅，居世界五大美人松之首。游走其间，移步换景，恍若人间仙境，令人魄悸魂动，陡然升华。其山势之雄险奇绝，树形之屈曲优美，景观之深奥神秀，当推全国之最。 这里曾是炎帝神农辨百谷，尝百草，登坛祭天的圣地。神农山有天然动植物国的美称。
神农山上下共有三千二百米的高海拔，共有四千三百二十一个台阶上有滑道和漂流等娱乐。
