《巴黎圣母院》是法国大作家雨果写于1831年的一本爱情小说，虽然书中的故事发生在1482年，但书中男女主人翁的爱情观，很可能依然写的是十八世纪法国社会的爱情观。就像金大侠写武打小说的爱情故事一样，故事虽然发生在古代，书中男女主人翁的爱情观其实是当代的。书中男女主人翁的爱情观是否依然存在于今天的法国社会?对此我缺乏足够的了解，然而读完全书，我却发现，书中描写的男女主人翁的爱情观依然存在于我们今天的社会，或许，这也正是这本小说在两个世纪后的今天依然不失为一本文学经典著作的原因之一吧。下面我就来谈谈爱斯美拉达和她的四位情人的不同爱情观。

一、爱斯美拉达的爱情观

爱斯美拉达是一位能歌善舞的十六岁美女，由于从小被吉普塞人从家中偷走，在流浪艺人中长大，所以不被当时等级森严的上流社会所认同和接受。当她在深夜被人打劫时，被英俊潇洒的皇家卫队队长弗比斯英雄救美，便一见钟情地陷入爱河，而他也被她的美貌所俘虏。

爱斯美拉达像所有琼瑶小说中的女主角一样，只要遇到了自己所爱的人，便不顾一切地无怨无悔地爱上了对方。不管这种爱情是否有结果，不管对方是否真的爱自己，甚至明明知道这种爱情不可能有结果，甚至明明知道对方并不真心爱自己，也依然一往情深地爱着对方，依然对这样虚幻的爱情忠贞不渝。

爱斯美拉达不但有一个完美无缺的躯体，也有一颗高尚纯洁善良的心灵。当诗人格兰古瓦即将被乞丐王国绞死的关键时刻，她毫不犹豫地以愿意和他结婚的方式救下了诗人。诗人被她的美貌和高尚所震撼，立刻身不由己地爱上了她，并希望能成为她名副其实的丈夫。但是爱斯美拉达为了她心目中的爱情偶像，平静地拒绝了他：“我只能爱一个能够保护我的男子汉。”并告诉他，和他结婚只是为了救他的命，所以只能和他维持名义上的夫妻关系。

当副主教克洛德利用种种卑劣手段想强迫爱斯美拉达接受他的爱情时，爱斯美拉达宁死不从。当克洛德在监狱里为了获得爱斯美拉达的爱情，欺骗她说她所爱的弗比斯已经被他杀死，让她不要再抱任何幻想，并且许诺只要答应他的爱情，就可以将她从死刑判决中解救出去。爱斯美拉达的回答是“如果他已经死了，为什么你还劝我要活下去呢?”当克洛德最后一次在绞刑架前让爱斯美拉达选择时，尽管这时候爱斯美拉达已经知道她所爱的人弗比斯还活着，她也找到了失散十五年的亲生母亲，她非常想活下去，但面对克洛德的求爱，她的回答是：“绞刑架让我厌恶的程度还远远不如你呢。”

在小说中“丑”的化身的卡西莫多，是以爱斯美拉达的～者的身份，首次出现在爱斯美拉达的面前，他奉命在深夜去抢劫爱斯美拉达。当卡西莫多因为抢劫失败，被皇家卫队逮捕，被绑在烈日下的耻辱柱上受鞭打示众时，他渴求围观的人群给他一点水喝，却无人理睬。眼见着他快要晕死过去的时候，让他没有想到的是，在众目睽睽之下勇敢地给他水喝的人，正是这位天使一样的爱斯美拉达。

爱斯美拉达的以德报怨深深震撼了外表畸形丑陋的卡西莫多，因为在他的内心也有和其他人一样的强烈爱心和感情。后来他冒着生命危险将爱斯美拉达从死刑架上抢救了出来，但是，他的丑陋畸形的外表，始终是横贯在他和爱斯美拉达之间永远无法跨越的鸿沟。雨果先生在小说的结尾通过死亡的方式终于跨越了这条鸿沟，我想那可能确实是唯一可行的方法。

二、弗比斯的爱情观

弗比斯是皇家卫队队长，长得又一表人才，英俊潇洒，整天周旋在上流社会之间，是富家小姐理想的白马王子。聪明的弗比斯非常善于利用他的有效资源，他选择了拥有丰富嫁妆的表妹百合花做未婚妻，同时又去追逐爱斯美拉达的美色。从他的身上，我们非常清楚地看到了当今社会的那些聪明的男人的身影，他们长袖善舞，“家里红旗不倒，家外彩旗飘飘。”

弗比斯的可恶之处在于他只爱恋爱斯美拉达的美色，却丝毫也不爱惜爱斯美拉达的生命。爱斯美拉达是以谋杀弗比斯的罪名被判死刑的，可是弗比斯在接受治疗中从医院逃出来后，为了不使自己的丑行暴露，竟然不去指证真正的凶手，以解救爱斯美拉达的生命。生活中这样的伪君子并不在少数，虽然他们平时很善于谈情说爱，海誓山盟，甜言蜜语，天花乱坠，但一到关键时刻，爱情对他们来说便立刻变得一分不值，因为在这些人的心里，从来就没有懂得过什么是真正的爱情。

三、克洛德的爱情观

如果说弗比斯是我们在生活中应该警惕的爱情伪君子，那么克洛德则是我们生活中应该警惕的爱情恶魔。三十六岁的克洛德是巴黎教会的副主教，他从小在教会学校里接受教会教育，经过几十年的努力，终于爬上了位高权重的位置。但是单调刻板不人道的教会戒律并没有能消除他内心的本能欲望，反而使这种本能欲望在极度的压抑下变得更加激烈和疯狂。当他对爱斯美拉达的爱情冲决了宗教对他的长期压抑后，他的欲望本能便像火山一样爆发出来，变得无法控制和收拾。

我们无法否认克洛德对爱斯美拉达

的爱是真心诚意的，是热烈的，无可替代的，他甚至愿意为了爱斯美拉达的爱情，放弃他所有的一切，连同他信奉了几十年的上帝。但是他的爱情也是极端自私的，他的爱情观就是：“如果我不能拥有，我就要让她毁灭!”所以他先指使他的养子卡西莫多在深夜里去抢爱斯美拉达，失败后，又刺杀情敌弗比斯，并嫁祸于爱斯美拉达。当爱斯美拉达被卡西莫多抢救到巴黎圣母院内合法避难的时候，他再利用权势和阴谋让爱斯美拉达失去了巴黎圣母院对她的庇护，然后在一片追杀声中，用死亡作威胁，逼迫爱斯美拉达接受他的所谓的爱情。

爱成恨，因爱成仇而产生的人间悲剧，基本上都因为有克洛德这种极端自私，只顾满足自己的情欲，丝毫不考虑对方意愿的根本不懂爱情的人物存在。所以每当我看到那些竭力鼓吹“爱是没有错”的爱情宣言时，就忍不住腹诽不止。因为个人觉得，无视被爱人意愿的，单方强加给对方的爱，不但是极端错误的，有时甚至是罪恶的。

四、格兰古瓦的爱情观

格兰古瓦是一个潦倒的诗人，就像在今天的社会，诗人无法靠写诗来养活自己一样，在两百年前的巴黎，诗人也无法靠写诗来养活自己，所以他不得不到流浪者人群聚集的乞丐王国里去求生存。遗憾的是一个诗人连当乞丐的技能测验也没有能够通过，结果被当成没有资格当乞丐的人而送上绞刑架。看到这里我忍不住想起了中国的一句古话：“百无一用是书生!”看来法国人和中国人在这个问题上的看法是基本上一致的。

然而书生的可爱之处是有自知之明，当格兰古瓦的爱情被爱斯美拉达平静地拒绝后，他立刻就明智地放弃了。因为他感到惭愧，身为男人，在爱斯美拉达被卡西莫多抢劫的时候，他没有勇气出面挽救，而他自己的生命，反而是靠了爱斯美拉达的怜悯才得到挽救，面对这样一位“女强人”，只要还有一点自尊的男人，便不会再奢望什么爱情了。

所以格兰古瓦格在和爱斯美拉达结婚后，便自愿当起了挂名丈夫，每日里随着爱丝美拉达上街去卖艺。挂名夫妻虽然没有得到想要的爱情，但最起码还有一个婚姻，并可以维持生存。

从格兰古瓦的身上，我们看到了今天许多中国丈夫们的身影，他们明明知道他们的妻子和自己没有爱情，明明知道他们的妻子渴望怎样的爱情，但是他们不得不接受这份没有爱情的婚姻。

五、卡西莫多的爱情观

如果说没有爱情只有婚姻的格兰古瓦们是不幸的，那么相对来说，卡西莫多则算得上悲惨了。卡西莫多是属于自身条件极差，但眼光又非常高的理想爱情主义的典型。卡西莫多由于长相畸形，从小成为弃婴，是副主教克洛德收养了他。由于从小在教堂长大，他也从来没有享受过家庭的温暖。长大后，继续留在教堂做敲钟人，所以他所爱的人只有两个，一个是副主教克洛德，一个是教堂的没有生命的大钟。可是，当美丽善良的爱斯美拉达出现的时候，唤醒了他内心对美好爱情的渴望。然而这种渴望的觉醒，并没有给他带来任何的快乐，反而使他更加深刻地感受到了生理缺陷带来的精神上的痛苦。

面对爱斯美拉达的美丽，他是那样地自卑，痛苦，他渴望接近爱斯美拉达，但是又怕自己的丑陋令到爱斯美拉达难受和害怕。他对爱斯美拉达并没有什么奢望，他只要知道她在她的身边就行了。然而就连这样一个奢望也被他的养父夺走了，绝望中的卡西莫多愤怒地杀死了他的养父副主教克洛德，最后也杀死了他自己——他拥抱着爱斯美拉达的尸体走进了另一个世界。

当然生活中不可能，或者很少有可能存在卡西莫多这样丑陋的人，但是在现实生活中，有这样或那样缺陷的人却很多，他们在面对他们心中完美的理想爱情对象时，也会像卡西莫多一样自卑和痛苦。所以，如果他们可以更加自信一些，或者更加调低一点他们选择爱情对象的标准，也许他们会生活得更加快乐一些。“
