一、说教材

(一) 教材分析

本单元出自山东教育出版社义务教育课程标准试验教科书八年级上册,第七单元在本册中处于教学的后期位置,但具有重要作用,重点在于培养学生英语交际能力,并结合生活中切实常用的话题:给人们的日常行为提出一定的建议,做出礼貌的道歉行为来展开基本语言内容的教学,并与第八单元的内容具有一定的联系。本单元遵循教材总体特点,采用任务型教学模式,并融汇话题,交际功能和语言结构would you mind doing sth? 进而形成一套循序渐进的生活化的学习程序。学生比较容易乐于接受,说课的内容是本单元Section A(1a~1c)部分,本课是单元首篇,以 Would you mind turning down the music? 为主题,本节内容具有词汇量较大,强调综合运用,贴近生活实际等特点。通过本节学习,可增加学生的单词储备量,提高学生综合运用能力,学生将学会用英文表达请求,表示歉意。在获取基础知识,发展基本能力的同时进一步强化学生学以致言,学以致用的英语学习观和合作品质。

(二) 教学目标

依据并结合新课程标准提出的基础教育阶段英语课程的总体目标和具体要求,我将本课教学目标设计如下:

知识目标:

让学生掌握其中的重要词汇mind, turn down, not at all等和句式would you mind doing sth? 并能让学生掌握如何运用所学句式提出礼貌请求以及礼貌的向他人道歉。

能力目标:

培养学生的听说读写能力,尤其是与他人用英语进行日常会话的能力。

情感态度目标:

在本课教学中注重培养学生的礼貌行为,了解英语国家中向他人提出要求及道歉的方式,并通过小组活动,培养学生乐于学习并与他人合作的精神。

(三)教学重难点

结合教学目标的要求,我把本课的重点设置为首先使学生掌握mind, not at all, turn down等重点词汇的用法,及课重点句型结构Would you mind doing sth? 并给出正确答语;怎样向别人有礼貌的道歉。

根据本课的内容和学生的实际,本课的难点为让学生掌握向别人提出请求的的句式Would you mind doing? 并给出正确的答语,能够在实际生活中应用。

二、说教法

1 学情分析

自己所任教班级学生英语基础比较薄弱,上课的.课堂气氛不够活跃,中等学生占多数,但是学困生比例也比较多,两极分化比较严重,虽然经过六七年级的学习,学生能够进行简单的会话,但是在学习策略方面人存在许多要解决的问题。有些同学在学习中缺乏小组合作意识,并且不能够大胆的用英语交流。

2 教学方法

根据所任教班级的具体情况,在本堂课中以任务型教学作为课堂教学设计理念,具体采用情景交际教学法,交际教学法,在教学中突出实际性,注重听说的实用性,同时适时进行情感和策略调整,以形成积极的学习态度,促进语言实际运用能力的提高。坚持“师为主导,学生为主体,任务为基础”教学原则,在课堂教学的不同环节教师应扮演自身作为设计者,研究者,组织者,促进者和协调者的角色。贯彻教中学,学中用的策略,真正使学生学以致用。

三、说学法

根据学生实际情况和本节课的主要内容,在这一节课中学生主要通过同桌合作,小组合作以及自由对话来完成这节课的任务型教学。

四、说过程

Step1. Lead―in

通过情景设计进行free talk来导入本节课地主要内容。设计的情景时周末邀请一名学生去吃饭,老师使用的句型是Would you like to have dinner with me this Sunday?通过这个问题来调动学生的积极性,引导学生主动表达学生在生活中如何邀请其他同学去海边,去看电影等让学生通过思考这些表达方式来进行自由对话。

通过这个情景设计来引出本节课将要学习的用来礼貌的提出请求的句型:would you mind doing sth?

设计理念:通过情景设计来调动学生积极性并导入本节课的主要内容。

Step2 Pre―listening task

为学生展示课本上的图画,通过相关的问题来引导学生找出主要的动词短语:clean the yard, play baseball, move the bike, turn down the music。 然后通过标题Would you mind turning down the music?带入词组进行反复训练,让学生充分熟练这个结构,同时在这一环节中通过图画中的烦乱画面对学生进行一定的情感教育:对于违反规则的一些事情要礼貌的提出请求。

设计理念:进行听力活动之前的热身,让学生尽可能熟悉本节课的重点内容,为后面进行的听力活动做好铺垫,便于学生融入听力活动。

Step3 Listening Ctask

在这一环节中设计了两个活动:

活动一:听一遍录音,完成activity1b,通过这遍听力注重would you mind doing?的问句。同时让学生注意前两个问题的不同,总结出这个句型的肯定和否定形式,然后有学生举例进行练习,并将学生的一些例子写在黑板上。

活动二:听第二遍录音,记录如何给出礼貌的回答,同时让学生对黑板上的例子进行回答练习。

设计理念:通过听力材料为媒介进行听说练习。

Step4 Pairork

同桌之间合作,利用本节课所学结构进行对话练习,要注意肯否定的同时训练。

设计理念:对所学句型的初步训练,进行对话练习,培养合作意识。

Step5 Groupwork

首先引导学生总结出日常生活的主要场所――学校的一些校规,四个同学分为一组,创设一个情景,可以是教室,操场,走廊,图书馆,实验室等学校的各个角落,根据所了解的学校规则来展开想象,常设一个情节比较完整的对话,尽可能多的运用之前学过的知识点,不仅仅局限于本节课所学句式,看看那个小组最有创意?哪个小组最好?

设计理念:小组合作,培养乐于学习与团队合作的意识,同时也是对礼貌提出请求和以前所学内容的复习。

引导学生总结本节课主要内容,然后进行当堂检测来检查本节课所学内容的掌握程度。

拓展性作业:Write a letter to your best friend who you want to talk with about his/her problems using the sentence structure。

五、课前预测

这节课的整体思路是导入――听前任务――听力练习――同桌合作――小组合作――总结――课堂反馈――作业布置,在这节课的设计上,导入和小组活动应该是本节课的亮点,但是在本节课进行之前应该注意的最大问题是设计的导入和小组活动要让学生动起来,才能达到教学设计的效果。由于任教班级学生日常上课气氛比较沉闷,因此在实际教学导入时,应充分利用板书来改变课堂现状,要避免自己在那单纯的提示学生造成课堂沉闷的状态。在教学的第二环节中让学生看图找出词组并运用词组进行训练,同时这一步应根据图画内容地凌乱来进行一定的情感教育,从而达到所设计的三维目标。

通过本节课的学习,学生能够掌握日常生活中礼貌的提出请求和道歉所用到的主要语言结构,接受一定的情感教育,基本能够达到所设计的三维目标。

[设计理念]

一、教材分析

二、教学目标

依根据并结合新课程标准和大纲提出的基础教育阶段英语课程的总体目标和具体要求我将本课教学目标设计如下:

1. 语言认识目标:让学生掌握一些重要词汇和句式,并能让学生掌握如何运用所学句式提出要求及如何与别人道歉。

依据英语教学的直观性,趣味性、实践性的教学原则,结合合作学习和任务型教学的新理念,我主要利用录音机,图片,多媒体(如果条件允许)进行教学。

五、教学方法

1. 教法构想:新课标倡导学生是学习和发展的主体,结合本教材的特点我决定采用任务型教学。又由于本课内容与日常生活联系密切,所以在任务型教学中又主要采用的是对话教学,这样可以让学生在完成任务作对话的过程中掌握所学句式。教学过程中,我将作为一名参与者、引导者、组织者,与学生之间进行平等地交流互动,引导学生积极主动地投入到学习活动中去。其教学步骤如下:自然导入:Wuld u ind ding 句型——完成前期任务:通过教师点拔,学生进行对话训练——中期任务:在听力训练中完成本句型的进一步掌握——后期任务:应用于实际:可让学生在完成教材中实际应用问题任务后自编对话进行练习。

2. 学法指导:说到学法:苏霍姆林斯基说过:“人的内心有一种根深蒂固的需要——总感到自己是一个发现者、研究者、探询者。所以在学生的精神世界中,这种需要特别强烈。”因此在本课的学习活动中,可以通过多媒体给学生方便快捷地提供某些情境进而帮助学生用所学句式自己来探索、发现和解决某些情境的处理。这样学生在与人机互动、人人交流的活动中建立起自信,享受到学习的快乐,得到相关的知识,成为学习的主人。

六、教学程序

由简到难,由认知到活用,最后达到实际应用。

1. 组织教学:与学生进行日常英语会话,并作每日晨讲

2. 导入:教师可先对学生询问天气状况,进行向学生提出要求:“请问你们介意把门打开或关上吗?”此后重复数遍引入句式Wuld u ind ding并帮助学生给出答语。

3. 前期任务:在较简单的听力及图片配合下,让学生完成图片搭配及排序任务,并能两人一组完成对话任务。本部分内容较为简单,所以符合学生的认知规律,可以很快完成此项任务。

4. 中期任务:此项任务增加难度,可让学生先熟悉问题的前题下进行听力训练,进而选择正确的答语,同样也要进行两人小组对话练习。此部分可重点进行训练。根据学生对话反馈情况,可安排进一步练习,即教师可用多媒体展示部分图片,给学生设疑,“什么情况下我们要向别人提出某些要求?”充分发挥学生的想象空间,分层次有选择的让学生进行练习,即能面向全体学生,又能增加学生训练难度,有利于教学目标的达成。

本课是学生初次接触的较长的阅读课文。无论在知识含量还是在阅读技能的培养上都是重点,课文的冗长,对机器人知识的匮乏都是教师上课的难点。因此需扩展相应知识,教授阅读方面技巧,从而提高阅读能力。

二、教学对象分析:学生已达到新课标三级阅读水平的要求

四、教学重点:根据标题推测文章内容的阅读方法,了解机器人的外形和功能。

1、自主学习:这一节是阅读课,所以我指导学生在不同的要求下进行快速阅读和深层阅读,要求学生运用自主学习法从整体上把握课文,同时鼓励那些怕开口的同学,都参与到课堂的中,动手完成一些基础的学习任务,培养他们学习英语的信心,培养团结合作的精神

(一) 导入新课(1’)

运用多媒体课件,播放有关机器人的视频,引起学生共鸣,激发学生学习兴趣。 边看边展示与课文相关的新单词。让学生想像机器人都是什么样的,机器人能做什么?

(这样导入新课,自然创设学习情景,引起学生共鸣,引起学生的兴趣。)

(二)快速阅读(skimming)(4’)

任务:让学生带着要求快速阅读课文:

Get the main idea of the whole passage.

这个环节是让学生初读课文,目的是训练快速阅读技巧,学生以较快的速度完成阅读,迅速找到答案。(学法指导:注意:用浏览、跳读和快读的技巧,培养自己快速获有用信息的能力---抓住关键词、主题句和中心大意的能力。

Tips: Reading for meaning , not for details(细节)。不必逐行阅读

(三)深层阅读(5’)

任务一:默读文章,回答下列问题,我利用多媒体出示2个问题,(把2个问题打出来)然后让学生带着问题进行有目的阅读。(这样做可以充分利用课本资源,而且化难为易。在全班校对答案之前我让学生先进行同桌相互校对,充分发挥生生互动。)

让学生学会有目的进行阅读,同时通过问题的巧妙设计,让学生在语境中理解本文的重点词汇,比教师直接的讲授效果要好。

学生首先是在书上查找信息,属于知识输入阶段,然后回答是输出的过程,在这里真正做到把知识转换为能力。第二次阅读文章是解决重点内容的部分。通过上面二次阅读和训练。学生对课文的大意及细节的关注已经有了一定的认识。充分发挥合作学习的方法让学生一起完成阅读任务应该是水到渠成。但有些学生基础薄弱,缺乏信心和毅力,所以让他们在优生的帮助下,做力所能及的,和大家一起进行热烈的讨论,让他们感觉没有被班级抛弃,英语学习对他们并不是高不可攀,增强他们学习的勇气和信心。同时培养全体同学的合作精神和竞争意识。

任务二:(10’)要求学生再次对课文进行深入细致阅读。我这样做的目的是为了指导学生理解文章的细节,段落大意,段与段之间的联系,使学生对篇章结构有更深层次的理解,为此设计了几项具体的操练形式。

首先由四人一组,分组讨论,给文章分段并归纳出段落大意,找出topic sentences.这样以来不仅体现了学生之间合作与探索意识,同时又有助于培养学生分析归纳能力与合作解决问题能力。

然后是解释explaining: (15’)

这一部分主要是对学生在阅读中遇到的问题进行排疑解难,同时提出文章中的语法点,让学生学习语言知识。设计步骤:重新回到文章当中,学生自主独立学习,找到并画出自己认为难懂、不会的词、短语与句子,提出问题,让其他学生帮助解决问题,如若有疑义,老师在进一步讲解。这样做的目的是学生能做的让他们去做,让每一个学生都主动投入到课堂活动中来,始终坚持以学生为本,教师起主导作用这一理念。

(四)听音并抢答(5’)

让学生听磁带仔细听课文,通过分组比赛的形式让学生做对、错练习一方面检测学生对该篇章的理解程度,另一方面活跃气氛。

(五)拓展延伸: (4’)

讨论:你认为机器人将来可以帮助你和你的家人做什么?未来是否愿意和大量机器人共存?

这个练习是课文的延伸,是学生对所学知识的再创造,充分发挥学生的主观性和创造性,提高学生的自身素质,也激发了学生对未来生活的热爱。

(六)作业(1’)

1. Read the passage.读课文要求:要求B层的学生要求能流利朗读;其余的学生会读并能熟练读出部分段落(可以自选段落但要求能占课文的三分之一)。

2. Write a letter to a robot scientist. Tell him what other things you think robots can do. Or tell him why you think robots are dangerous and help them to improve robots. (A层要求)
